First and foremost, I am a child of God and my heart has been completely captivated by Him.  He has truly set my feet on solid ground and I have seen Him drastically change my life.  I long to see others know His heart for them and walk in the freedom that He paid for.  It was for feedom that He set us free and only when we know His heart for us, can we walk in that.  I have been a Christian for 18 years and as the years have been going by, I am beginning to see the story of my life and how He has been working sometimes in plain view above the surface and sometimes under the surface, but He’s always been pursuing, loving and winning my heart.  In this past year, I feel that things have come sharply into focus and I am understanding His heart for us more than I ever have.

I have been married to my amazing husband, John, for 15 years.  I truly love him more than I did on our wedding day.  Thankful does not even begin to describe how I feel for the gift that he is to my life.  He is my biggest supporter and is not afraid to speak into my life and for that, I am thankful.  We have four children who are 14, 12, 10 and 7 and so we are in an incredibly busy time.  It’s crazy how time flies (well not always) but you know what I mean.  My mantra when they were toddlers was, “The days are long, but the years are short.”  I am finding that the season I’m in now, the days and years are short.  Ultimately, when they leave home, I want them to know that God is good, He loves them and there is nothing worth giving up a relationship with Him.
